Introduction
Following the footsteps of Gandhiji and leading a very simple life K.Kelappan came to be known as 'Kerala Gandhi'. It was Gandhiji's call for non-cooperation, as a tool for freedom struggle, Kelappan was attracted towards the freedom struggle.
Even earlier he was leading a simple life. In his socio – political activities he never went after power. Many positions came to him. He was against the caste system and always fought for the rights of socially backward castes.
